Rikard & Protopapas Attorneys named South Carolina Super Lawyers
Rikard & Protopapas is proud to announce that three of its attorneys have been recognized as South Carolina Super Lawyers for outstanding service to their clients. Our firm is also honored to have multiple attorneys earning this distinction for the seventh consecutive year in a row.

Founding partners Robert Rikard and Peter Protopapas were recognized as top-rated securities litigation and professional liability attorneys, respectively. This is the sixth year both Mr. Rikard & Mr. Protopapas have earned this distinction. Mr. Rikard has also been recognized as a top-rated medical malpractice attorney by Super Lawyers.
Mr. Rikard litigates investment loss cases all around the United States. Most recently, he served as lead counsel in more than a dozen states representing hundreds of retirees who suffered financial losses related to a complex Ponzi scheme case involving insurance products and other investments.
This year, Jescelyn Spitz was named a Rising Star in civil litigation for the first time. The Rising Star recognition is reserved for outstanding lawyers either younger than 40 or who have been practicing for no more than 10 years.
