
George Pappas
Biography
George Pappas joined Rikard & Protopapas as an associate in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office in Pittsburgh, PA., honing his skills in the courtroom while trying numerous criminal cases to obtain justice for victims. George served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jeffrey A. Manning while attending night classes in pursuit of his law degree. He also represented underserved members of the community as part of the Unemployment Compensation Clinic. Before entering law school, George worked in business tax compliance for one of the largest custodial banking and asset servicing companies in the world.
As part of the experienced legal team at Rikard & Protopapas, George is involved in a variety of cases with his main focus on investment losses and securities litigation. His diverse background in corporate compliance and criminal prosecution has equipped him with the skills necessary to represent victims of financial loss.
George and his wife make their home in Columbia, SC and enjoy many of the outdoor activities that South Carolina has to offer.

George is also an active member of the community, serving on the Special Olympics Committee for the Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar.
